  • If you are booking for more than one person, you must repeat this process for each customer individually to ensure the correct ticket, seat, and pick-up point are allocated.

Things to do while in Broadstairs

Dickens House Museum

Dickens House is a small museum that overlooks Viking Bay. Primarily we focus on Dickens and the many holidays that he spent with his family here in our town. Our knowledgeable guides will talk you through the Dickens story as well as showing off the many artefacts that are housed in our collection.

Viking Bay Beach 

Viking Bay is the main beach of the seaside town of Broadstairs, and it’s often described as a classic example of a traditional British seaside resort.

At its core, Viking Bay is a wide, horseshoe-shaped sandy beach bordered by white chalk cliffs and a promenade above. Its soft golden sand and gently sloping shoreline make it especially popular for families, swimming, and beach activities. 

Crampton Tower Museum

The Crampton Tower Museum is a fascinating small museum which is partly housed in a flint tower adjacent to the Broadstairs Railway Station.  Along with a wealth of artefacts there is also a 5-inch gauge miniature railway on the museum site of which children can ride - weather permitting. This and other interactive displays make for an informative and entertaining visit for everyone - from families with children to historians and researchers.

To allow us to run to time on our trips and give you our valued customers the best day possible we release our pickup times around a month before the date of your trip.

FAQ's

What time will I be picked up?

Your exact pick-up time will be confirmed approximately two weeks before departure along with your pick-up point details. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early so the coach can depart on time.

How does seat allocation work?

All seating allocations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
While we do our best to accommodate seating preferences, seat allocations may occasionally need to be adjusted for operational reasons.

For single-seat bookings, seating arrangements may also be altered to help maximise overall seating availability. In the unlikely event of a seat change, we regret that no liability can be accepted.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • No refunds are available for cancellations made within 14 days of departure.
  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before departure may be refunded or transferred to
    another available trip.
  • Event or show tickets may be non-refundable or non-transferable depending on organiser terms.

Is the tour suitable for children?

Where we advertise Child tickets these tours and trips are suitable for children.

Can I bring luggage?

Please limit luggage to one medium-sized suitcase per person plusa small bag for items you want onboard with you. Bigger or
additional bags may not be allowed due to limited luggage space.
