An Amazing £1,057.94 Raised for Macmillan Cancer Support! 💚

What an incredible morning!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Macmillan Coffee Morning at Richard Taylor Travel. Thanks to the generosity of our customers, friends, staff and local community, we are delighted to announce that an amazing £1,057.94 has been raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.

From everyone who stopped by for a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake, to those who baked, donated and helped behind the scenes, every contribution played a part in making the morning such a success.

A Table Full of Incredible Cakes! 🍰

No Macmillan Coffee Morning would be complete without plenty of cake, and we were certainly spoilt for choice!

We would particularly like to thank Chrissy, who treated us to a delicious Coffee & Walnut Cake, and Knead & Desire, who kindly provided a fantastic Lemon & Blueberry Cake.

Our thanks also go to Jen & Jan Hegley for their Gluten-Free Cupcakes and Chocolate Tiffin, and to Kathy Harrington for the wonderful cupcakes.

The Richard Taylor Travel team also got involved with the baking, providing cupcakes as well as a beautiful Macmillan Victoria Sponge that certainly looked the part on our cake table!

A tremendous amount of effort went into making and donating all of the treats, and we are extremely grateful to everyone who contributed.

And Then Richard Doubled It! 💚

There was one final surprise that made the result even more special.

A huge thank you must go to Richard Taylor, who very generously agreed to double the amount donated, helping us reach the fantastic final total of:

Macmillan Cancer Support provides vital services to people living with cancer and their families, so knowing that our coffee morning will help support their work makes every cup of coffee poured and every slice of cake eaten that little bit more worthwhile.

Events like this aren't just about raising money – they're also a wonderful opportunity to bring people together, have a chat, enjoy some fantastic homemade cakes and support a cause that means so much to so many people.
