Planning your next getaway? Here are answers to some of the questions we are often asked about travelling with Richard Taylor Travel.
How do I book a coach holiday with Richard Taylor Travel?
Browse our available coach holidays and select the trip that interests you. Each holiday has its own page with information about the destination, dates, accommodation, itinerary and pickup arrangements.
When booking is available, choose your room type, enter the passenger details and select your preferred payment option.
Can I pay a deposit for my coach holiday?
Yes. Our holiday booking options include paying a deposit or paying the full holiday price at the time of booking.
If you choose to pay a deposit, the remaining balance is payable separately. RTT will send you an invoice for the outstanding amount, and the final balance due date is shown on the individual holiday page.
Deposits are non-refundable, subject to applicable statutory rights and our Booking Terms and Conditions .
Can I book a Double, Twin or Single room?
Our holiday listings show the available accommodation options, which may include Double, Twin and Single Occupancy rooms.
Double and Twin room prices cover two people sharing the room, while Single Occupancy prices cover one person.
Prices displayed on our holiday cards are for the whole room, not per person. Room availability varies by holiday.
Where can I join the coach for my holiday?
Pickup points and joining arrangements are shown on each holiday's individual booking page. Available pickup locations may vary depending on the holiday.
Final joining instructions are sent approximately 14 days before departure. We ask passengers to arrive at their allocated pickup point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Are your coaches wheelchair accessible?
RTT holiday coaches are equipped with wheelchair lifts and can accommodate wheelchair passengers using designated spaces and appropriate restraints.
As wheelchair spaces may require changes to the seating arrangement, please contact Richard Taylor Travel before making a booking if you travel in a wheelchair or need assistance with mobility.
Accessibility at hotels and attractions can vary, so we can discuss your requirements before you book.
Do I need travel insurance for a UK coach holiday?
Travel insurance is not compulsory for our coach holidays, but we strongly recommend arranging suitable cover before travelling.
Depending on your policy, insurance may provide protection for cancellation, curtailment, medical needs, personal belongings and travel disruption.
Please check the policy carefully and disclose any relevant pre-existing medical conditions to your insurer.
