A great place to start your visit is the historic Old Market Square, right in the heart of Nottingham. Surrounded by shops, cafés and impressive buildings, it is an ideal meeting point and provides easy access to many of the city's main attractions.

History lovers can discover Nottingham's fascinating past, including its famous network of caves beneath the city. Nottingham Castle is another popular attraction, offering exhibitions, art and impressive views across the city. The castle sits on a historic site closely associated with the legend of Robin Hood.

For those who enjoy shopping, Nottingham offers an excellent choice. The city centre combines well-known high-street names with independent retailers, boutiques and specialist shops. The historic Lace Market area is also well worth exploring, with beautiful architecture and a fascinating connection to Nottingham's industrial past.

Nottingham is also home to some impressive churches, including St Mary's Church in the Lace Market and Nottingham Cathedral, both offering visitors the chance to admire beautiful architecture and enjoy a quieter moment away from the busy shopping streets.

If you prefer a relaxing day, there is no shortage of cafés, restaurants and traditional pubs where you can enjoy lunch or refreshments. You could also simply find a comfortable spot in the city centre and watch the world go by.
